We are currently recruiting for the following role in our Toronto office:
Data Scientist & Artificial Intelligence Developer
Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and formulate data-driven solutions.
- Design, develop, implement, and administer artificial intelligence solutions and systems.
- Create and modify interactive generative chat functionality across a suite of applications.
- Coordinate and implement the usage of internally developed intellectual property for use in AI tasks.
- Troubleshoot data and user issues with the AI system.
- Work with vendors and outside consultants to resolve issues and perform upgrades and maintenance.
- Continuously review internal processes and tools and look for opportunities for improvement through automation or improved tooling.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in AI and data science techniques.
Qualifications:
- An in-depth knowledge of generalized AI, along with the associated principles and practices is required.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Experience with Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services, ChatGPT, LLMs.
- Experience with data manipulation and analysis tools.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Typescript, and C#.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Azure, Containers (dockers/Kubernetes), Semantic Kernel, and OpenWebUI/LiteLLM is considered an asset.
