Christopher Doucet practices corporate and securities law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and corporate governance matters. He advises clients in a range of industry sectors such as mining, technology and real estate on corporate finance transactions (such as initial public offerings, secondary market offerings, private placements of equity and debt securities and private equity investments) and M&A transactions (such as takeover bids, plans of arrangement and other business combinations). In addition, Chris provides advice on regulatory and compliance issues to public issuers, including continuous disclosure, securities regulatory and corporate governance obligations.
Prior to joining Bennett Jones as an associate, Chris articled with the firm and in 2011 was seconded to the Ontario Securities Commission.
