On November 23, 2021, Jessica led the Legal and Regulatory Discussion at the pre-mission market overview and training session for participants in the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada's first Canadian Women-only Virtual Business Mission to Australia and New Zealand. The Mission, which is in partnership with SheEO and supported by the Trade Commissioner's Service of Canada and Export Development Canada, has the following objectives:

  • provide mission delegates with an overview of the Australia and New Zealand markets, with particular focus on the infrastructure, smart cities, sustainable solutions and health technology sectors;
  • provide mission delegates with an overview of programs and supports administered by Export Development Canada;
  • introduce mission delegates to the APF Canada-led Canadian Women’s International Network (CanWIN); and
  • build knowledge and opportunities for collaboration among mission delegates.
