Andrew Bozzato has joined Bennett Jones as a partner in Toronto. He has a broad securities and corporate law practice with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance transactions, complex commercial agreements, and corporate governance.
Andrew advises clients across a range of industries, with particular expertise in financial services, technology, fintech, cleantech, and mining. Andrew has extensive experience advising private equity and venture capital investors and portfolio companies on acquisitions, investments and general corporate and securities law matters.
He joined the firm after several years at another leading Canadian law firm and after gaining several years of experience as an in-house lawyer. Andrew’s in-house experience includes time within the legal department of a Canadian financial institution as well as establishing and managing the legal department for a renewable power/cleantech portfolio company of a U.S.-based asset manager.
