Sander Grieve was honoured as Lawyer of the Year at the 10th Annual M&A Atlas Awards in New York City. Global M&A Network hosted the ceremony and recognized Sander for his demonstrable record of executing value-creating transactions of behalf of his clients.
Sander led the Bennett Jones team in its work for Osisko Gold Royalties, who won the Global M&A Deal of the Year award (large transactions). Osisko was honoured for its acquisition of portfolio assets of Orion Mine Finance Group. Osisko’s Board Chair and CEO Sean Roosen won the Corporate Growth Leadership Award.
Bennett Jones congratulates Gabriel de Alba, Managing Director of The Catalyst Capital Group, who won the Private Equity Investor Leadership Award. As an organization, Catalyst won the Global M&A Deal of the Year award (mid-market transactions), for its capital sale of Geneba Properties to Frasers Property.
