David Wahl Appointed to CIArb Canada Board of Directors

Bennett Jones congratulates David J. Wahl, FCIArb on his election to the board of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), Canada Branch.

CIArb is a global professional body dedicated to advancing effective dispute resolution. With an inclusive membership spanning jurisdictions, industries and disciplines, CIArb sets robust ethical standards and promotes global recognition for practitioners in arbitration, mediation and adjudication.

David is known for his expertise in domestic and international commercial arbitration. His practice includes major construction, infrastructure and manufacturing disputes. He regularly represents clients in high-stakes, multi-party proceedings. He has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta and is recognized for his strategic, business-focused approach.

His appointment to the CIArb Canada board reflects his longstanding commitment to the development of arbitration in Canada and internationally. David’s initial term on the board will run until June 2028. Bennett Jones thanks David for contributing his time and expertise to this important leadership role.
