Gary is recognized internationally as a leading Canadian lawyer in corporate mid-market law, in private equity/venture capital law and in technology law. He is a director of the Canadian Venture Capital Association.
Gary's practice focuses on corporate finance, development and governance, particularly in connection with new economy companies. He has advised on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, public and private financings, stock exchange listings, stockholder agreements, licensing and distribution agreements, international corporate structurings, corporate reorganizations and venture capital/private equity fund termination.
