Seven of Bennett Jones' extremely talented and accomplished women lawyers have recently been honoured with leadership awards and high-profile features in the media.

The Honourable Anne McLellan, P.C., O.C. – 2016 Women in Law Leadership Awards, Lifetime Achievement Award Winner. Presented on November 17 in Edmonton.

Rose Carter, Q.C. – 2016 Women in Law Leadership Awards, Leadership in the Profession Award Winner (Private Practice). Presented on November 17 in Edmonton.

Radha Curpen – Featured on the cover of ?Lexpert's special edition on energy that profiles Canada's leading energy lawyers. The edition appears in the November 2016 issue of the Globe and Mail's Report on Business Magazine.

Dominique Hussey - ?Named one of the Top 250 Women in IP in the world. In May, Managing Intellectual Property released its 2016 edition of IP STARS and Dominique is one of only seven female IP practitioners included for Canada. This is the first year the Top 250 includes accomplished women in IP from around the globe.

Jane Bird – Profiled in an October 2016 BCBusiness column that looks at her experience as an infrastructure guru who has worked on massive projects in Vancouver, in British Columbia and abroad.

Dr. Indira Samarasekera PhD, O.C.BCBusiness named Indira Samarasekera one of BC's most influential women in their annual survey. The list of women who have “The Power to Disrupt” appeared in February 2016.

Sharon Singh – Awarded a Wendy McDonald Award in the category of Women of Promise in March 2016. The awards are presented by the Women's Leadership Circle of the Vancouver Board of Trade.

These women join lawyers like Valerie Prather, Q.C., who won a 2013 Women in Law Leadership Award, Leadership in the Profession Award Winner (Private Practice).
