In the Law Society of Upper Canada's Gazette article, "New Policies Challenge Female Immigrants," Sabrina Bandali's presentation on International Women's Day is highlighted. As a representative of the OBA Women Lawyers Forum, Sabrina is quoted saying, "As lawyers, as law makers, and as people of conscience, we have an obligation to recognize when the rules we make and the systems we perpetuate make the price tag of new opportunity higher and harder to pay... When the currency of payment is dignity, is access to basic services, is being able to live in community with your family and loved ones, there are serious questions to ask about the transaction."
