Shelby Morrison has a general commercial litigation practice, with a focus on intellectual property law. She assists clients with resolving and litigating intellectual property disputes with an emphasis on trademark litigation.
Shelby advises clients in various industries, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, agriculture, retail, and luxury goods. In addition to advising clients on a range of intellectual property matters involving patent, trademark and copyright issues, she also advises clients on regulatory, product regulation, promotion, packaging and labelling and compliance matters in relation to legal cannabis, food, natural health and drug products.
Shelby regularly consults on transactions involving IP and regulated industries. She assists clients to navigate the IP and regulatory aspects of corporate acquisition, re-organization and joint ventures.
Shelby is a member of the Canadian Bar Association.
Prior to joining Bennett Jones as an associate, Shelby both summered and articled with the firm.
