Ben Merrell

Throughout his legal studies at the University of Toronto, Ben competed in the 2025 Davies Corporate/Securities Law Moot, completed an externship with the Law Society of Ontario, and served as vice president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. 

Ben was actively involved with Downtown Legal Services during his time at law school and was recognized for designing and installing a large-scale mural at the clinic while serving as a student caseworker. Ben also spent several years working for True North Marine, which helped develop his skills in data analysis and the maritime shipping industry.
