Lincoln Caylor comments on why Canada needs to do a better job of keeping dirty money out of the country, in light of a Russian money laundering operation that ran through Canada. He says that while detecting every suspicious transaction is a tough job for banks, they have to be vigilant. He also says Canada has a role to play in stemming the flow of proceeds from corruption abroad by denying dirty money a safe place to hide here.
