Bennett Jones is very proud to announce that partners Dominique Hussey and Jason Roth have been honoured as "Rising Stars – Leading Lawyers Under 40" by Lexpert Magazine.
Dominique heads the IP Litigation Group from our Toronto office. Her practice emphasizes pharmaceutical litigation and trademark prosecution and litigation, and involves litigating and negotiating and structuring settlements of all types of intellectual property disputes. She is consulted on regulatory, trademark, copyright and patent matters, including in the course of corporate mergers, acquisitions, restructuring and joint ventures. Dominique also assists in due diligence and IP matters on technology deals and works on consumer and retail product, pharmaceutical and biotechnology-specific commercial matters.
Jason is a partner in our Calgary office, and acts for energy companies on a broad range of commercial transactions, both in Canada and internationally. Energy firms benefit from Jason's assistance with purchase and sale transactions, supply arrangements and international and domestic energy construction-related projects. Jason specializes in energy development projects, particularly in the drafting and negotiation of engineering, construction and procurement documentation related to such projects.
The Lexpert "Rising Stars – Leading Lawyers Under 40” awards are presented to lawyers from law firms and in-house counsel, aged 40 or under, who are seen to be rising stars in the Canadian legal community. Lexpert selects the finalists based on a number of criteria and an advisory board votes on the winning candidates.
