Doug Fenton has a general commercial litigation practice, with experience in class actions, bankruptcy/insolvency and securities litigation.
At law school, Doug received a number of academic awards, including course prizes in contracts, administrative law and securities litigation. Doug was also recognized for his oral advocacy in the areas of corporate/securities litigation and criminal law. He has published in the Canadian Business Law Journal.
Doug rejoined Bennett Jones as an associate after clerking at the Court of Appeal for Ontario, where he worked for Associate Chief Justice Hoy, Justice Nordheimer and Justice Harvison Young. Prior to his clerkship, Doug summered and articled at the firm.
