Tundra Helps Entrepreneurs Market Near-Ready Innovative Technology

June 23, 2017

Written By Bryan C. Haynes

Calgary-based Tundra Process Solutions Ltd. recently launched an innovative program designed to help Alberta's best and brightest entrepreneurs fast track the commercialization of new products and services that aim to solve industry's most pressing challenges. The Acceleration Centre for Entrepreneurs, or ACE, is aimed at entrepreneurs who have near market-ready technology, or are keen to get involved with one, who need a boost to reach their full potential. All value-added technologies are looked at, particularly those with a focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving the environment.

If accepted into the program, entrepreneurs receive mentoring and coaching to develop a detailed business plan to bring their product or solution to market, along with the opportunity to pitch their project and business plan inside the "Tundra Tank" to determine what role Tundra can have in bringing the solution to market, including the potential of financial back-up.

Bennett Jones is proud to be a supporting partner of the ACE program. Tundra's innovative Acceleration Centre is coming at the right time in Alberta. We have many talented people in the province who want to create, build, grow and help industry tackle emissions and improve the environment. The current economic climate provides an excellent opportunity to innovate and we are proud to be working with Tundra on this initiative.

Tundra's ACE program strategically aligns with Bennett Jones' very own Kickstart program—a program which provides startups and entrepreneurs with cost-effective legal advice. Both programs aim to help entrepreneurs revitalize our economy.

To learn more or enroll in either the ACE or Kickstart program, please contact:

  • ACE: Erik Allan, Program Director, erik@tundrasolutions.ca
  • Kickstart: Karen Keck, Partner, keckk@bennettjones.com
