John Baird appeared live on Toronto’s CP24 to share his views on NAFTA negotiations. John says that Mexico is in a challenging spot with presidential elections taking place on July 1. Canada is doing well in the negotiations with key issues being maintaining Chapter 19 and not including a sunset clause. John also spoke about Canada’s push for multilateral trade agreements and the U.S. focus on doing deals one-by-one with other countries.
