BJU Professionalism Series: Coaching in the Workplace - Maximizing High Performance

October 24, 2012

Professional coaching has emerged as one of the most effective ways to get what you really want from your professional and personal life.

Many top Canadian employers have incorporated coaching into their professional development programs, recognizing it as a powerful way to assist their professionals to cope effectively with performance demands, goal-setting and work-life balance challenges. The coaching relationship helps people to become more self-aware, set goals, explore options, and commit to action.

Join Bennett Jones and external facilitator:

Sheena MacAskill, Professional Coach

for a lively and interactive group coaching session in which you will:

  • Discover your work-based strengths and communications style using the DISC model;
  • Learn how your behaviour impacts others in your work environment; and
  • Explore how you can flex your style to manage and motivate others.
Sheena is a member of the International Coach Federation. She is trained by the Adler School of Professional Coaching and is certified in Team Coaching. Sheena is also an Ontario qualified lawyer and was an associate and partner in the litigation group of a large Canadian Law Firm.
