Michelle Yung has been elected to the board of directors of Atira Women's Resource Society, effective Friday, December 9, 2022. Atira is a not-for-profit organization committed to the work of ending violence against women. It provides a range of direct, non-barrier services, including safe and supportive housing, in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside as well as Burnaby, Surrey and White Rock.

Michelle is a longtime community leader in Vancouver through her pro bono work and board service for cultural and commercial real estate organizations.
