EDMONTON, May 1, 2012 – On May 1st, former Governor of the Bank of Canada, David Dodge will speak at the Bennett Jones and MacEwan University Plugged into Business Speaker Series.
Speaking to a capacity crowd, Dodge, a Senior Advisor at Bennett Jones LLP, will give a global economic outlook with attention to how it will impact Edmonton and the province of Alberta.
While Deputy Minister of Finance in the mid 90's Dodge is often credited for his role in righting Canada's economic ship along with, then Finance Minister, Paul Martin. Dodge is a World renowned economist whose model of balancing prudent regulation with appropriate stimulus is being analyzed and reproduced the World over.
