Christina Skinner advises clients on all aspects of competition law, including merger review, abuse of dominance and compliance matters. Christina has experience working on regulatory investigations under the Competition Act and on complex, high-profile merger transactions, including complying with supplementary information requests (SIRs). She also advises clients on foreign investment review under the Investment Canada Act. 

Christina also has experience working on sports arbitration matters involving allegations of coach misconduct, as well as other matters before the Court of Arbitration for Sport. 

Christina is a member of Young Women in Law, the Canadian Bar Association (Competition Law and Foreign Investment Review Section) and the American Bar Association (Antitrust Law, Entertainment & Sports Industries). 

Before becoming an associate at Bennett Jones, Christina summered and articled with the firm. While articling, Christina was seconded to the Enforcement Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission.

Tetra Tech in defence of securities class action claim alleging misrepresentation relating to mineral resources and reserves at a mine and processing facility in Mexico owned by Gatos Silver, Inc.
Amazon Inc. as Canadian competition counsel in its US$8.45-billion acquisition of MGM Studios.
One of the world's largest companies by market capitalization in a Competition Bureau investigation into its third-party pricing policies.
A Canadian airline in a potential joint venture with another airline to enhance its cross-border network.
Extendicare Inc. in the $307.5-million sale of its retirement living operations comprised of 1,048 retirement living suites across 11 retirement communities located in Ontario and Saskatchewan, to Sienna-Sabra LP, a partnership formed between Sienna Senior Living Inc. (TSX: SIA.TO) and SABRA Healthcare REIT (NASDAQ: SBRA).
TELUS Inc., through its TELUS Agriculture division, in its acquisition, together with Rabobank, of Conservis, a company that integrates disparate farm technologies into one streamlined interface to manage the business of farming.
Sycamore Partners, the parent company of Staples, in its US$2.1-billion planned acquisition of ODP Corporation and the related Canadian competition matters and filings.
Quebecor Inc. and Videotron Ltd., as competition counsel, in the sale of Freedom Mobile Inc. by Shaw Communications to Quebecor, in connection with the proposed acquisition of Shaw by Rogers Communications Inc.
Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP and Alleghany Corporation, as Canadian competition counsel, in the US$11.6-billion acquisition of Alleghany by Berkshire Hathaway.
Lineage Logistics, an international refrigerated warehousing and storage company owned by Bay Grove Capital, on its acquisition of VersaCold Logistics Services, a Canadian refrigerated warehousing company with fully integrated logistics capabilities, from Torquest Partners, The Investment Management Corporation of Ontario and OPTrust.
