Krishen Singh has a general litigation practice with an emphasis on professional negligence and health law. He has advised on regulatory, commercial and malpractice matters. Krishen has assisted on files before all levels of Alberta courts as well as administrative tribunals.
Prior to joining Bennett Jones as an associate, Krishen summered and articled with the firm. Additionally, he completed a clerkship with the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta in 2020 to 2021. Krishen has further legal experience having completed internships for the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Canadian Constitution Foundation.
While attending law school, Krishen worked as a Writing Fellow for the Legal Research and Writing Program at the University of Alberta's Faculty of Law. He won the Bereskin & Parr LLP Prize in Intellectual Property and the Darcy Readman Prize in Personal Property Security Law for top performance in these courses. Krishen was also on the Dean's List.
Krishen has held positions with Student Legal Services, the University of Alberta Students' Union Discipline Board and is currently an active member of the Canadian Bar Association.
