Valeria Palacio has a broad corporate commercial law practice, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, securities and commercial transactions.
Overview
During her undergraduate studies, Valeria completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy at the University of Calgary where she was awarded with the Silver Medallion in Political Science for achieving the highest academic standing within her program. She has also received multiple scholarships throughout her undergraduate studies and law school, such as the Louise McKinney scholarship.
While in law school, Valeria volunteered as a caseworker with Student Legal Assistance, gaining hands-on experience in client advocacy and legal problem-solving.
Prior to becoming an associate at Bennett Jones, Valeria summered and articled with the firm.
