Overview
Anna Lekach maintains a general tax practice advising clients on both corporate and personal tax matters. Anna has assisted on matters involving corporate tax planning, corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions and tax litigation and dispute resolution before the Canada Revenue Agency and Tax Court of Canada.
Prior to joining Bennett Jones as an associate, Anna summered and articled with the firm.

Shopify in its successful opposition in the Federal Court of two CRA applications for Shopify to divulge business information about its merchants
Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., in connection with its C$1.19-billion acquisition of an indirect minority equity interest in the Labrador-Island Link from Emera Inc.
Repsol Oil & Gas Canada Inc. in its US$468-million sale of all partnership interests of Repsol Canada Energy Partnership to Peyto Exploration & Development Corp.
