Ava Armand

Ava maintains a general international trade and investment practice. She brings a rigorous and solutions-oriented approach to her work, helping clients navigate complex regulatory regimes and manage legal risks in an increasingly globalized marketplace.

Ava obtained her law degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, where she developed a strong foundation in international and economic law. She worked with the International Human Rights Program and competed in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, in which she was recognized as a top oralist at both the Canadian and International rounds. Ava completed her undergraduate degree in Economics at McGill University.

Before joining Bennett Jones, Ava worked at two leading boutique litigation firms, where she gained extensive experience with complex criminal, regulatory and civil proceedings, and appeared before all levels of court in Ontario.
