Summarize

Charlene Hiller will speak on the Women's Infrastructure Network's webinar on the Alliance Contract Model.

Alliances have been used with great success overseas to deliver landmark and complex projects. The Alliance model is relatively uncommon in Canada, but there have been a few recent high profile public sector alliance procurements. Charlene and her fellow panellists will:

  • consider the key features of an alliance model and how that model drives performance and achieves outcomes for proponents;
  • consider the current state of the construction market in Canada and explain how Alliances might be used in the Canadian context; and
  • draw on the lessons learned through the international experience of delivering alliances.
