Gary Solway comments in Canadian Lawyer on the federal government's Bill C-25, which would amend the Canada Business Corporations Act. Gary says that of the many submissions the government received over a wide variety of topics, “very little is in this act. It kind of feels like . . . an administrative bill as opposed to a bold new direction or massive modernization of our corporate legislation.
