On February 11, 2019, Health Canada released its Cannabis Voluntary Recall Guide, a copy of which can be accessed here. The guide provides helpful information on the requirements of the Cannabis Act and Cannabis Regulations related to voluntary recalls of cannabis and cannabis products.

Members of the Bennett Jones Cannabis team are the leading professional advisors providing legal and related guidance to cannabis participants in all facets of the industry, as well as connectivity to our network as the Canadian cannabis industry continues to grow. Our team of professional advisors regularly advise federal and provincial licence holders regarding their obligations and best practices with respect to the cultivation, processing, sale and distribution of medical and recreational cannabis and cannabis products.

Please contact us if you need any advice or assistance navigating this evolving regulatory landscape.
