Bikaramjit Sandhu maintains a general corporate law practice that focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, shareholder activism and private equity matters. He has experience working in a variety of areas including public offerings, debt and equity financings, public and private acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, contested transactions and proxy fights.
Bikaramjit summered and articled at a prominent international law firm in Toronto, where he was seconded to the Royal Bank of Canada's public and corporate services group. Prior to joining Bennett Jones, he worked at another national firm.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Bikaramjit owned and operated a fruit exporting company, gaining experience in regulatory compliance, financing and cross-border transactions.
