Enzo Barichello comments in Canadian Lawyer’s Edmonton city report on the state of law and business in Alberta’s capital. Enzo is optimistic and says the city must adapt to the reset at a global level of the relationship with carbon, as carbon pricing is a structural change in the economy. One way is to commercialize the creativity and research of Edmonton’s post-secondary institutions, in partnership with the private sector and government. Enzo also comments on the growing demand from clients for cybersecurity solutions. “The reality is there is more and more reason to be here, for business, for community, for sport,” Enzo says. “This is a community that is a lovely place to earn a living and to raise a family.”
