Managing Intellectual Property released its 2016 edition of IP STARS and Dominique is one of only seven female IP practitioners included for Canada. This is the first year the Top 250 includes accomplished women in IP from around the globe.
Dominique is Head of IP Litigation at Bennett Jones and is a partner and trademark agent in the Toronto office. Her practice involves all aspects of IP litigation, with particular emphasis on litigation and advisory work involving pharmaceutical patents, trademarks, IT, and regulatory aspects of food, drugs and cosmetics. Dominique also prosecutes trademarks and counsels on high-value brand portfolio matters, She regularly structures complex litigation settlements and advises on the IP and regulatory aspects of commercial arrangements.
Dominique regularly writes, speaks and teaches on written and oral advocacy, litigation and intellectual property topics.
Before joining Bennett Jones, Dominique practised for several years at a major law firm in New York. She is admitted to practice in Ontario, the Federal Court of Canada, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
