Bennett Jones has again been ranked one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People. This is the eighth consecutive year the firm has been selected as a winning organization.
Canada’s Top Employers for Young People is a special designation recognizing the employers that offer the nation's best workplaces and programs for young people just starting their careers. Employers are Canada's leaders in attracting and retaining younger employees to their organizations.
Here are some of the reasons why Bennett Jones was once again selected:
- The firm works with various post-secondary institutions to hire legal assistants and other practicum students each year—the four-week program includes in-house training, rotational assignments, mentoring and job-shadowing opportunities.
- Bennett Jones invests significantly in training and development, providing financial support for offsite training and university courses and seminars, and offering in-house mentoring for legal assistants, legal summer students and articling students.
