Overview

Gabriel Rhone is currently pursuing his Juris Doctor at Western University, where he is engaged in academic research, student leadership and community involvement. He works as a research assistant to Professor Erika Chamberlain on novel torts and impaired driving sentencing patterns and serves as co-chair of the Western Tax Law Association. Gabriel also supports undergraduate education as a teaching assistant for a business course and has been recognized on the Dean’s Honour List. His favourite courses include Tax Law, Corporate Law and Law and Religion, which reflect his interest in corporate and commercial and tax law.

Before law school, Gabriel completed his HBA in Business Administration at the Ivey Business School at Western University and gained experience as an insurance claims adjuster and bike camp supervisor. He has also fundraised for the BC Cancer Society Tour de Cure. Outside of academics, he enjoys playing trumpet, guitar and piano and is currently training for the Victoria Ironman 70.3.
