Clare Murray has a general commercial litigation practice. She assists clients with a wide range of commercial disputes, providing strategic and practical legal solutions tailored to their needs. Clare is committed to understanding her clients' objectives and delivering effective advocacy to achieve their goals.
Clare earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2024. During law school, she honed her legal skills and developed a strong foundation in litigation. Prior to law school, Clare graduated with High Distinction from the University of Michigan in 2021, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Russian Language and Literature and Linguistics. She was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa in recognition of her academic excellence.
Before becoming an associate at Bennett Jones, Clare summered and articled at the firm. She is proficient in reading and writing Russian and has intermediate speaking abilities, which enhance her ability to serve clients with diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
Clare is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2025.
