Rayna Lew has a general commercial litigation practice with an emphasis on professional negligence and health law. She advises on a variety of civil matters and has assisted on disputes before various levels of Alberta courts and administrative tribunals, including the Alberta Human Rights Commission and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
Before becoming an associate at Bennett Jones, Rayna summered and articled with the firm. She then clerked for the Honourable Chief Justice of Alberta, Ritu Khullar, before returning to Bennett Jones as an associate.
During law school, Rayna was the 2020 Dean's Bronze Scholar and maintained Dean's List standing throughout. Prior to law school, Rayna worked for a Member of Parliament in Ottawa.
Rayna remains active in her community and currently volunteers with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre and Jewish Federation of Edmonton. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, hiking, and attempting new artistic endeavours.
