Benjamin Clarkson
Summer Student

Overview
Benjamin is currently completing a joint Master of Arts (International Relations) and Juris Doctor program through Carleton University and the University of Ottawa. He has participated in competitive mooting, including the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot and has held leadership roles with student organizations focused on space law and engineering, science and construction law. He has also been involved in community initiatives through Habitat for Humanity.
Before enrolling in law school, Benjamin earned a degree in Public Affairs and Policy Management from Carleton University. He has professional experience as a junior analyst across several federal government departments, including the Canada Border Services Agency, Global Affairs Canada and the Department of National Defence, as well as experience as a teaching assistant. In his free time, he enjoys baseball, running, tennis, board games and astronomy.
