Marissa Abbott

Marissa is currently completing her Juris Doctor at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, where she has been extensively involved in legal scholarship and student leadership. She has served in multiple roles with the UBC Law Review throughout law school and will assume the position of Executive Editor in May 2026. Marissa has also participated as a clinician with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program.

Before enrolling in law school, Marissa earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Service Management through the Co-operative Education program at the University of Victoria’s Peter B. Gustavson School of Business. In her free time, she enjoys collecting records, attending concerts, reading, travelling and birdwatching.
