Vasilis Pappas spoke at Commercial Arbitration 2026, presented by CLEBC on May 26 in Vancouver. The program brought together experienced arbitration counsel and arbitrators to examine foundational and emerging issues in commercial arbitration practice.
Vasilis co-presented the session Use of Experts in Arbitration, which explored the strategic and practical considerations surrounding expert evidence in arbitral proceedings. The presentation addressed the role of experts in arbitration versus litigation matters and key considerations in preparing and working with expert witnesses.
Commercial Arbitration 2026 covered a broad range of topics, including drafting arbitration agreements, arbitral institutions, financial considerations in arbitration, summary resolution and appeals within the arbitral framework.
