John Craig focuses primarily on resolving national and international construction disputes through negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation.
John also assists international and domestic owners, contractors and engineers with the review, negotiation and drafting of construction contracts, tender documents, project specific E&O, builders' risk course of construction and liability insurance, and performance, bid and labour and materials bonds. He has also practices extensively in the areas of builders' liens.
John is acknowledged as a leading construction law practitioner by client and peer review publications, including Chambers Canada, The Lexpert/American Lawyer Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada and The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory. He is also a fellow of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers.
Active as a volunteer, John is a former director of the Alberta Roadbuilders and Heavy Construction Association and of the Arthritis Society. He has also been actively involved in leadership positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
