Peter Ciechanowski has a general corporate litigation practice, with a focus on regulatory matters.
Following law school, Peter articled then worked as Legal Counsel to Alberta Justice and Solicitor General. In this role he advised on energy matters ranging from carbon capture and storage agreements, financing agreements and insolvency matters. Peter has worked extensively with the Alberta Petroleum Marketing Commission, both including with respect to governance and the potential development of a LNG facility.
Additionally, Peter also has experience with advising on domestic and international trade disputes.
Before entering the practice of law, he worked with the Ministry of Health and the Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health on matters of public health.
