Byron Tse has a broad corporate commercial practice with a focus on private mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity transactions and corporate reorganizations.

Byron has assisted clients in a wide range of routine and transactional corporate matters, including representing clients throughout all stages of the investment life cycle from angel to late-stage investments and liquidity events, as well as advising on corporate governance, organizational, technology and restructuring issues.

Byron articled at Export Development Canada, where he gained experience at Canada's export credit agency in various financial services matters, including project finance and asset-backed lending transactions. Byron was called to the Ontario bar in 2015 and practised with an international law firm in Ottawa, Ontario.

In the community, Byron currently serves on the board of directors of the I Can for Kids Foundation, a Calgary-based charitable organization whose mission is alleviate the harmful impacts of poverty and to promote inclusive approaches to food security by providing resources to families unable to reliably meet their basic needs.

Calfrac Well Services in its appearance before the Ontario Securities Commission in successfully resisting an application by Wilks Brothers, LLC to review a decision of the Toronto Stock Exchange that granted exemptive relief to Calfrac in relation to a significant recapitalization transaction.
ZeroKey Inc., a Calgary-based spatial intelligence company, in its Series A investment.
