Jessica Roberts practices in the area of international trade, anti-corruption, customs and procurement law. She provides strategic advice and represents Canadian and international clients on a broad range of matters including trade remedies, trade agreements, foreign corrupt practices, internal and external investigations, government procurement and procurement disputes, regulatory compliance, customs compliance, and other cross-border issues.
Jessica has a commercial litigation background. She has been an advocate for her clients in commercial litigation, arbitration, and mediation, and has expertise in administrative law and judicial review. Jessica regularly advises clients in connection with integrity compliance in government procurement, and has worked on numerous mandates relating to the federal government’s Integrity Regime, including acting as a third party in providing submissions to Public Services and Procurement Canada (formerly Public Works and Government Services Canada). Jessica has represented clients before the Ontario Superior Court (including the Commercial List) and the Federal Court, and in trade remedy and procurement proceedings before the Canadian International Trade Tribunal and the Federal Court of Appeal.
Jessica is a member of the Advocates' Society, the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association. Prior to becoming an associate, Jessica was a summer student and articling student with the firm.
