The Lawyer’s Daily reports on Anne McLellan’s appearance before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Health. The Committee is holding hearings on Bill C-45, the Cannabis Act. One of the aspects Anne addressed was the limits of how much cannabis adults can grow at home. Anne explained that as chair of the Task Force on Marijuana Legalization and Regulation, “We consulted experts, especially in the United States, who told us that they felt that four plants, 100 cm high, would provide adequate supply for a moderate/reasonable user of cannabis.”
