Anne McLellan co-chaired the 19th annual World Partnership Golf Tournament in Edmonton, held at the Glendale Golf and Country Club. The Edmonton Journal covered the event, which raised $407,550 to support Aga Khan Foundation Canada’s development program to help families lift themselves out of poverty. Funds raised this year will help build and strengthen education and health-care systems in Central Asia and East Africa, including Afghanistan, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique and Pakistan.
