Technology creates new opportunities for criminals; as technology
evolves, so, too, do the potential criminal uses for it. The criminal
exploitation of new and emerging technologies – such as cloud computing,
anonymous online networks and virtual currency schemes – requires
businesses to be proactive to protect themselves in a digital era.
