Steven D'Arcy, a partner in the firm's Toronto office, has been appointed to serve as a Judge of the Tax Court of Canada.

A member of the firm's tax and international trade groups, Steven has been a partner with the firm since 2001. He is acclaimed nationally and internationally as one of Canada's leading advisors on GST, commodity tax and international trade law.

Steven joins other Bennett Jones alumni currently serving on the nation's courts, including Justices Marc Nl and Michael Ryer of the Federal Court of Appeal, Justice Roger Hughes of the Federal Court, Justice Cliff O'Brien of the Alberta Court of Appeal, Justices Kristine Eidsvik, Jo'Anne Strekaf, Sal Lovecchio, Karen Horner, and Bruce McDonald of the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta, and Judges Cheryl Daniel and Brian O'Ferrall of the Provincial Court of Alberta.
