Bennett Jones congratulates Sun Life Financial’s Dean Connor on being named Canada’s Outstanding CEO of the Year. Dean was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Sun Life in December 2011 and is a member of the company’s Board of Directors.
Bennett Jones is the Presenting Partner of the award, which celebrates a Canadian business chief executive who exemplifies leadership, excellence and integrity and who has built a globally competitive organization.

Proceeds from the Awards Gala benefit the Futures Fund Scholarship for university students across Canada. This program provides ten exceptional and deserving students with $7,500 grants to further their educational ambitions. Recipients are selected based on their achievements and demonstrated leadership initiatives in their academic and extracurricular activities.
Hugh Mackinnon and Dr. Indira Samarasekera, Senior Advisor at Bennett Jones, are on the 2017 national advisory board for the award.
