Sahej Toor

Sahej Toor earned her Juris Doctor with Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan, where she was actively involved in advocacy, student leadership and legal publishing. She participated in the Gale Moot, served as an Editor of the Saskatchewan Law Review and was President of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers at USask. Sahej also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and received several academic awards, including the College of Law Student Award Fund Scholarship and the Willion Elliott Scholarship in Law. During her legal studies, she developed academic interests in health law, intellectual property and employment law, supported by coursework in health law, administrative law and evidence.

Prior to law school, Sahej earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Calgary and worked as a medical office assistant, gaining experience in clinical environments. She also gained early legal experience working as a Legal Research Assistant, where she supported research initiatives, conducted detailed analysis, and developed strong foundational skills in legal writing and research. Sahej speaks Punjabi and Hindi with bilingual proficiency, Urdu with professional proficiency and conversational Spanish.
