Overview
Olivia Stanton completed her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, at the University of Ottawa after earning a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) with Distinction in History from Queen’s University in 2021. During law school, Olivia developed a particular interest in environmental law, litigation and business, with Cyberfeminism and Negotiations among her favourite courses. In 2025, she won the Walsh Moot and received a top-three speaker award.
In addition to her studies, Olivia served as a coach for the 2026 Walsh Moot Team, worked as a Research Assistant on the Surrogate Voices Project and was Communications Coordinator and a workshop team member with the Women’s Legal Action Fund (LEAF) Ottawa. She also served as an Assistant Editor at the Ottawa Law Review.
