Overview

Josh Paterson earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta, where he combined strong academic performance with research and extracurricular involvement. He received multiple academic awards, including the Francis Michael (Ned) Feehan Memorial Award, First Class Standing, Dean’s List recognition, the President’s Scholarship in Law and the Criminal Trial Lawyers Association Prize in Evidence. Prior to law school, Josh earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Alberta and was a member of the Golden Bears varsity hockey team throughout his undergraduate degree and first year of law school. He gained professional experience working in the legal department of a leading international construction company, where he developed exposure to construction and corporate legal matters.
