Alysha Pannu advises clients on all aspects of competition law, including merger review, abuse of dominance and compliance matters. She has extensive experience working on complex and high-profile merger transactions and has extensive experience with e-discovery, including complying with supplementary information requests (SIRs) and section eleven orders under the Competition Act. Alysha also advises clients on foreign investment reviews under the Investment Canada Act.
Prior to joining Bennett Jones, Alysha articled at another large, national Canadian law firm and worked at the Mergers Directorate of the Competition Bureau where she reviewed high-profile mergers under the Competition Act.
Alysha is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association (Competition Law and Foreign Investment Review Section) and the American Bar Association (Antitrust Law Section). She is Vice-Chair of the Canadian Bar Association Competition Law Section's Young Lawyers Committee and is a member of the ABA Antitrust Law Section Young Lawyers Division's Advisory Board. She also serves as a Liaison to the ABA Young Lawyers Division on behalf of the Antitrust Law Section in her role as Young Lawyer Representative.
